Danya believes in the potential for transformation within every person. By centering curiosity and cultural humility, Danya supports her clients as they work toward abundant, embodied, and fulfilling lives. She is committed to empowering her clients as they cultivate change and connect with themselves through the therapeutic process. Clients working with Danya can expect a nonjudgmental space to explore their emotions, thoughts, and somatic experiences. In addition to her client’s therapeutic goals, she is interested in the art, music, and stories that are meaningful to them.
Danya embraces an intersectional feminist approach to counseling in which conversations about identity, culture, and power are welcome. Danya recognizes the impacts of systemic oppression and actively works with her clients to navigate these complexities. Her theoretical framework incorporates elements of Gestalt therapy, somatic practice, and humanistic therapies, including person-centered and existential therapy.
Danya received her master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at the Ohio State University in 2023. Before transitioning into counseling, she accumulated eclectic professional experiences in the service industry, higher education, and mutual aid work."

He is an experienced generalist, with particular specializations/interest in alcohol and other drug use disorders/assessment, trauma, working with LGBTQ persons, anxiety, depression, family of origin concerns, men's issues, bipolar disorder, and obsessive-compulsive disorder. Simon continues to incorporate Gestalt, interpersonal process, client-centered, and motivational interviewing theories.
Simon believes that each person's unique experiences, cultures, and identities inform the therapeutic process. He strives to not make meaning for others and instead is interested in how his clients are experiencing their full range of emotions in the here and now.
